Surfing Pictures

Surfing pictures are probably one of the most popular images in the Hawaiian Islands.  Most magazines, every kid's bedroom, most adults too, retail store or public office will have a picture of someone surfing someplace in plain view.  An image of a celebrity surfing on the cover of a magazine is pure gold in Hawaii as sales will skyrocket.
 

Kite Surfing

There are many ways to surf the ocean blue.  Using Kites and Sails we can harness the wind and pull us speedily across the waves.  We have hooked up the kite to a kayak to pull two of us down from the power station to The Cove beach in Kihei, Maui.
 

Surfing Lessons

Lessons can be found pretty much everywhere.  I never got around to taking one but I am sure that it will help.  I have gone by the trial and error route and I am still deep into it.
 

South Shore

Depending on the time of year and what swells are happening there is pretty much sometime to ride somewhere. More often then not you will need a longboard to catch anything. The Cove in Kihei is a great place to enjoy yourself.
